Golden Roast Pumpkin Seeds

I adore nuts and seeds but they are always infinitely more delicious when you roast them yourself- and pumpkin seeds or pepitas are no exception.

They’re my absolute fave for adding as a finishing crunchy sprinkle to my oats, salads and desserts or just by the handful as a easy to carry snack!

Makes 8 Serves

Cook Time - 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pepitas/Pumpkin Kernels they are the best

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven to 200C

  2. Spread pepitas evenly on a baking tray (lined if you want fast clean up)

  3. Bake @ 200C for 10 mins or until golden

  4. Leave to cool before eating or storing in an airtight container (I use old jars)

  5. Enjoy! while warm or cooled over salads, oats, frozen deserts or as a snack

Tips

  • Variations- drizzle with soy or spices for a savoury twist

  • Store in airtight container for weeks
